Sonatrach: Several Discoveries Made in Northern Niger

The president of Algeria's state energy company Sonatrach, Toufik Hakkar, stated on Monday that the company respects all gas contracts with Spain regardless of the circumstances. He revealed that they have made several discoveries in northern Niger. Hakkar added in statements published by the Algerian News Agency, "None of the European customers we deal with have requested price caps." He further mentioned that the giant company is "in constant contact with the Libyan authorities to resume operations."
