The Turkish lira has dropped to 19.70 against the dollar, as the country appears to be heading towards a presidential election runoff, with both President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's party and his rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's party claiming to lead in the voting results. The lira opened in global markets at 19.63 against the dollar before falling to its lowest level in two months.
