The General Directorate of State Security in Zahle announced in a statement that "following numerous cases of electricity theft occurring in Saadnayel, perpetrated by an individual named (A.N.) for the benefit of Syrian refugee camps, and his collection of subscription fees and kilowatts from them. The encroachments on the network have been removed, and State Security patrols are still monitoring (A.N.), who is evading capture, with the aim of apprehending him after obtaining judicial approval."
