Delhi police arrested several prominent Indian wrestlers today, Sunday, including "Bajrang Punia" and "Sakshi Malik," Olympic medalists, amid escalating protests demanding the arrest of federation president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over allegations of sexual harassment against multiple female wrestlers. Police official Devendra Patak stated, "They breached the barriers and did not follow police instructions... They broke the law, and that is the reason for their arrest." Wrestlers began their protests against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who denies the allegations of sexual harassment, in January of this year.
