Netherlands: General Elections in November

The Dutch public broadcasting agency reported today, Friday, citing governmental sources that "the general elections will take place in the country on November 22." The Dutch government collapsed last week after failing to reach an agreement on immigration policies. Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who has held the position for 13 years, announced that he will retire from political life. Finance Minister Sigrid Kaag and Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra stated that they will not run in the upcoming elections.
