Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Wednesday that "there are no reasons to extend the grain export agreement through the Black Sea ports," considering that "the agreement, mediated by Turkey and the United Nations, has not been implemented correctly." Peskov said, "The UN was forced to acknowledge that it failed to exert the necessary influence on Western countries to fulfill the obligations related to Russia in the agreement." He pointed out the list of Russian demands, which includes the removal of what Moscow describes as "obstacles to the export of Russian grain and fertilizer shipments."
