Samir Geagea, the head of the Lebanese Forces Party, met at his residence in Maarab with the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, accompanied by the First Secretary for Political Affairs, Pietro Ainardi. They discussed the latest political and economic developments in Lebanon, particularly the implications of the presidential elections and the issue of Syrian refugees. The meeting was attended by former Minister Richard Kioumjian, head of the party's External Relations Department, and Tony Darwish, responsible for Europe in the department. During the occasion, the ambassador presented Geagea with the English-language book "Guide to the Lebanese National Museum," funded by the Italian embassy.
