French presidential envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian arrived today, Wednesday, at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, for a visit during which he will hold meetings and discussions with official, party, and political leaders regarding the election of a new president for the republic. The French envoy was welcomed by the French Ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo, leading a delegation from the embassy. The media office of the French embassy announced today that "a schedule for Le Drian's visit will not be distributed, and there will be no press conference for him."
