Russian Defense Ministry: Russian and Chinese Ships Conduct Joint Patrols in the Pacific

The Russian Defense Ministry stated in a message today, Friday, that "ships from the Russian and Chinese navies are conducting joint patrols in the Pacific and carrying out naval exercises in the East China Sea." The ministry added in a statement on the Telegram app: "A detachment of ships from the Russian Navy and the People's Liberation Army Navy is currently operating in the waters of the East China Sea, having traveled more than 6,400 nautical miles since the start of the patrols."
