Agency: Russia Announces Completion of Naval Exercises with China

The Russian news agency "Interfax" reported today that "the Russian and Chinese navies have completed joint reconnaissance exercises in the Pacific Ocean." The agency quoted the Russian Pacific Fleet as saying that "the exercises, which lasted more than three weeks, included over 50 drills, including combat training." It added: "The Russian ships are transiting through the East China Sea, on their way to the Chinese port of Qingdao."
