The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated in a communiqué from a military source that "around 12:30 AM today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Palestinian territories, targeting various points around the city of Damascus." The Sana news agency reported that Syrian air defenses intercepted the Israeli aggression using missiles that targeted some areas around Damascus, shooting down some of them. A military source mentioned to the agency that "around 12:30 AM today, the Israeli enemy executed an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Palestinian territories, targeting various points around the city of Damascus." The source added that "our air defense systems intercepted the aggression's missiles and shot down some of them, with damage limited to material losses."
