Buckingham Palace has released a photo of Queen Elizabeth's final resting place in the royal church in Windsor, showing a stone bearing her name as well as the names of her parents and her husband, Prince Philip. The stone, made of black Belgian marble, is placed in the George VI Memorial Chapel, which Queen Elizabeth ordered to be made the burial site for her father, George VI, in 1962. The Queen was buried there on Monday after a formal funeral at Westminster Abbey. The stone is engraved with the names "George VI 1895-1952 / Elizabeth 1900-2002" in the top two lines, followed by a star representing a prestigious order, and then "Elizabeth II 1926-2022 / Philip 1921-2021" in the bottom two lines.
