Title: Lebanese Interior Ministry Prohibits Children from Riding Behind Motorcycle Drivers

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, issued a letter to the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces requesting the "prohibition of children riding behind motorcycle drivers." Motorcycles of all types have become the most commonly used means of transportation in Lebanon due to rising fuel prices and high tariffs on new cars, leading to deadly accidents on the streets that claim the lives of youth, families, and children in large numbers.
