Taliban Detain 3 British Nationals in Afghanistan

Sky News reported today that the Taliban are holding three British men in Afghanistan, including tourist Miles Routledge, who is known for visiting the world's most dangerous places. The report stated that the other two are charity paramedic Kevin Cornwell and another unnamed British citizen who runs a hotel in Kabul. A spokesperson for the British Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office told Reuters in a statement, "We are working hard to establish consular contact with the British nationals detained in Afghanistan and are supporting their families." However, he did not confirm further details about the British nationals.
