The National Earthquake Center in Syria announced that its stations recorded an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale, north of Latakia, according to the Syrian news agency "SANA." The statement clarified that the epicenter of the quake is located 49 kilometers north of Latakia and at a depth of 17 kilometers. The tremor was registered by monitoring stations at 10:58 AM, with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale.
