ISIS Claims Responsibility for Brussels Attack

The ISIS organization has claimed responsibility for the attack that occurred on Monday in Brussels, stating that one of its fighters carried out the attack that resulted in the deaths of two people, according to the organization's channel on the Telegram app today, Tuesday. Belgian officials reported that the suspect in the killing of two Swedish football fans and the injury of another in Brussels is a 45-year-old Tunisian who had his asylum request rejected in 2020, but remained in Belgium illegally. Following a manhunt overnight, the police shot and killed the suspect at a café in the Schaerbeek area of northern Brussels on Tuesday morning.
