Expat Medal Awarded to Three Members of the Lebanese Community in Dubai

The Lebanese General Consulate in Dubai announced in a statement that it awarded the "Expat Medal" to three members of the Lebanese community in Dubai: attorney Samir Kanaan, banker Farouj Narkizian, and businessman Patrick Shalhoub. These individuals were awarded the Expat Medal through a presidential decree and with the approval of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, "in recognition of their professional successes and their support for the Lebanese presence in the United Arab Emirates, as well as their support for numerous humanitarian and social initiatives in Lebanon." Doumit emphasized "the significant role played by members of the Lebanese community in the UAE," expressing gratitude to this brotherly country for embracing the Lebanese people, and stressing "the importance of enhancing relations between Lebanon and the UAE."
