The Norwegian Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, "its agreement with Denmark to donate an additional nine thousand artillery shells to Ukraine." The statement added: "Norway will supply the shells, while Denmark will donate the fuses and propellant charges." The ministry noted that "the shells can be used in several types of artillery, including the M109 howitzers that Norway has previously donated," and added that new ammunition will be purchased to replace those donated by Norway. Norway will also donate seven thousand shells from its own stockpile, which have already been sent to Ukraine, according to the ministry.
