Norwegian Writer Jon Fosse Wins Nobel Prize in Literature

The Nobel Prize awarding body announced today, Thursday, that the Norwegian writer and playwright Jon Fosse has won the 2023 Nobel Prize in Literature for his "innovative plays and prose that express the unsayable." The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awards the prize, which is worth 11 million Swedish kronor (1 million dollars).
