Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met with Anna Berdi, the World Bank's Managing Director for Operations, this afternoon at the Grand Serail to discuss the projects funded by the bank in Lebanon and ways to overcome the obstacles they face. The meeting was attended by the World Bank's Regional Director for the Middle East, Jean Christophe Carre, Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh Al-Shami, and former Minister and advisor to the Prime Minister, Nicolas Nahas. The Prime Minister also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib.
