The Egyptian artist Hossam Habib commented on the circulating news regarding his wife, the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, allegedly attempting suicide by taking an overdose of medication, saying: "This talk is shameful." Meanwhile, the official spokesperson and member of the Musicians' Syndicate, Mohamed Abdullah, stated: "All the talk about Sherine Abdel Wahab is fabricated. I have contacted her, and this talk is not true." He added: "She is currently coordinating with her manager for new concerts."
