What Britain Wants from the G20 Summit

The spokesman for the British Prime Minister announced today, Thursday, that Rishi Sunak will discuss the progress made in circumventing the Russian blockade on grain exports through the Black Sea with leaders of the G20 at a summit held early next week. The spokesman told reporters in a statement regarding a phone call between Sunak and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, "They discussed... the impact of the ongoing blockade imposed by (Russian President Vladimir) Putin on (grain) exports through the Black Sea." He added, "The Prime Minister is keen to urge progress with G20 countries toward circumventing the Russian blockade and ensuring that affected countries receive essential grain shipments."
