The Israeli army announced today, Monday, that a soldier was injured in a mine explosion involving a military engineering vehicle near Lake Tiberias, in the Syrian Golan. The army stated in a communiqué: "A civilian employee of the Israeli army was injured this morning during mine clearance operations," indicating that "the employee was in a armored vehicle when the land mine exploded." It added: "The civilian employee in the Israel Defense Forces is 29 years old; he was in the vehicle and sustained minor injuries, and he was transferred by an intensive care vehicle to a hospital in Tiberias, and his condition is not critical."
