BFM TV reported today, Saturday, that the suspect in the stabbing attack in the city of Annecy, southeastern France, has been transferred from the police station where he was held to appear before the court. In a press conference, the public prosecutor in Annecy, Lin Poinet Mathis, stated, "It has been decided to place the suspect in the attack that injured four children and two retirees in custody," noting that he is now "under official investigation for attempted murder and for using a weapon to resist arrest." She added, "The injured are no longer in critical condition threatening their lives."
