The foreign ministries of Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso stated in a joint statement today, Thursday, that the head of the military council in Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani, has permitted the armed forces of Mali and Burkina Faso to intervene on Nigerian territory in the event of an attack.
