Turkish media reported that after counting approximately 87.53% of the votes in the second round of the presidential elections, where Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu are competing, Erdoğan received 53.15% and Kılıçdaroğlu 46.85%. According to preliminary counts, Erdoğan received 21.7 million votes compared to Kılıçdaroğlu's 18.7 million votes. The preliminary results showed Kılıçdaroğlu leading in Istanbul, while Erdoğan advanced in Konya, Bursa, Kayseri, and Ankara. Erdoğan led in 52 provinces, while 29 provinces cast their votes for Kılıçdaroğlu.
