The Director General of Civil Aviation, Fadi Al-Hassan, considered that "the crowding at Rafic Hariri International Airport is a good indicator of its activity," revealing that "the electricity crisis has affected the airport." Al-Hassan stated in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon": "The daily number of arriving passengers is almost 10,000, while the number of departing passengers ranges between 18,000 and 20,000, due to the nearing end of the summer holiday."
