French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday that he speaks daily with the ousted Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum and reaffirmed France's support for the president who was overthrown in the coup. Macron added, "I talk every day to President Bazoum. We support him. We do not recognize those who carried out the coup. Any decisions we make, whatever they are, will be based on our communication with Bazoum."
