Lebanese artist Elissa announced that the Lebanese judiciary ruled in her favor in her case against the "Watary" company, through a tweet on her Twitter account. Elissa appreciated the role of the Lebanese judiciary, stating: "The judiciary stands for my rights once again through an honest and fair judge who was not influenced by any pressure from Ralph Karkabi." She added: "This new decision confirms that it is still capable of deterrence."
The text of the decision shared by Elissa states: "The company Watary is prohibited from benefiting from the revenues of the songs 'Min Awal Daqeqa' and 'Ana w Bas' and that it is no longer the exclusive distributor for the complaining party, and to notify this to several online platforms."
Elissa concluded her tweet with a special thank you to her lawyer Mark Habqa, affirming: "The judiciary is doing great."
