Lebanon Southern Water: Power Transformer Malfunction at Fakhr al-Din Wells

The Southern Lebanon Water Authority informed subscribers benefiting from the Fakhr al-Din wells No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 that due to an emergency malfunction in the electrical transformers, "the pumping to the water tanks in al-Maitem and Kfardjal has stopped, and we are waiting for the maintenance teams from Electricité du Liban to fix the issue. Beneficiaries in both al-Kfour and Kafrjouz will also be affected." It added in a statement: "The Nabatiyeh Water Department is continuing to follow up on the matter with Electricité du Liban to repair the malfunction as soon as possible."
