RTN television reported via its account on the platform "X" that "the two brother countries have deployed warplanes to respond to any forms of aggression against Niger." It added: "The chiefs of staff from Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso met in Niamey to discuss these developments." In parallel, the Minister of Defense of Burkina Faso warned of "increasing activity of terrorist groups in the region if Niger descends into chaos."
