Lebanese University Advances Globally and Maintains Local Excellence

The Lebanese University has risen in global rankings according to the QS reports for 2024, occupying the 577th position worldwide after being in the 601-650 category in 2023. The Lebanese University announced in a statement that it was evaluated among 7 Lebanese universities in the QS global ranking for 2024, securing the first position locally in the professional reputation index and the second position locally in academic reputation. The QS report highlighted "the importance of the range of specializations covered by the faculties and institutes of the Lebanese University, notably in medical and natural sciences, engineering, technology, social sciences, management, arts, and humanities." The Lebanese University had been ranked among the top 100 global universities (51-100) and first locally in petroleum engineering, and among the top 150 global universities (101-150) and first locally in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
