Most stock markets in the Gulf closed higher on Sunday, resuming trading after the Eid al-Adha holiday. The Qatari index had the strongest performance, rising by 1.3% to 10,204 points. The Saudi index increased by 0.3% to 11,494 points. The index in Oman rose by 0.1% to 4,774 points, while the Kuwaiti index saw a 0.6% increase to 7,809 points.
