The Russian spacecraft set to land on the Moon entered its orbit today, Wednesday, in a significant step towards Russia's goal of being the first to achieve a soft landing at the Moon's south pole in search of water ice. The Russian space agency (Roscosmos) reported that Luna-25 entered lunar orbit at 11:57 Moscow time (8:57 GMT).
