Title: Evacuation of Lebanese Citizens Stranded in Sudan

Prime Minister Najib Mikati followed up with Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Minister Abdullah Bou Habib on the situation of Lebanese citizens in Sudan, reassuring himself that the convoy of Lebanese evacuees is safely outside the capital, Khartoum. In this context, the Lebanese Embassy in Sudan organized a convoy to evacuate approximately sixty Lebanese citizens to Lebanon by sea. The Prime Minister issued instructions to the Higher Relief Committee to oversee this matter and ensure the return of the Lebanese citizens to Beirut after their departure from Sudan by sea.
