Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated to a Bosnian television station on Wednesday that "the Russian military operation in Ukraine is very difficult, but it will continue." He noted that "Russia has been able to inflict significant damage on the Ukrainian military machinery, and this will continue. Russia has launched countless missile strikes on military targets throughout Kyiv." Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to bombard the eastern parts of the country occupied by Russia. Peskov stated, "This shows the need to continue the conflict, pushing the pro-Kyiv forces to retreat." Kyiv is planning a new counter-offensive. Western officials estimate that over 200,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded.
