A statement was issued by the Secretary General of Catholic Schools in Lebanon, Father Yusuf Nasr: "Dear Principals of our schools in Beirut and its suburbs, greetings. We leave it to each school in the suburbs of Beirut, depending on its location relative to the anticipated gathering tomorrow, Friday after noon prayer in the Imam Al-Mujtaba Square in the Saint Therese area, to decide on a complete or partial closure (after 12:00) or to remain open (if far from the gathering sites)."
