Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai met at the Patriarchal See in Bkirki with the U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, who affirmed that her country "will spare no effort to support Lebanon and contribute to expediting the election of a president for the republic, as the continuation of the current situation will increase complexities and risks at all levels."
