Meeting Between General Aoun and British Delegation

The Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarzeh the Chief Defense Advisor for the Middle East from the British Ministry of Defense, Marshal Sami Sampson, accompanied by his assistant, Major Howard Barr, in the presence of the Chargé d'Affaires of the British Embassy in Lebanon, Kamelia Niklis, along with an accompanying delegation. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two armies. General Aoun also welcomed the Metropolitan of Zahle and Bekaa and its affiliated regions for the Greek Orthodox, Bishop Antonios Souri, who was accompanied by a delegation and attended by former MP Marwan Abou Faadel. They discussed the conditions in the Bekaa region. The members of the delegation reaffirmed their support for the military institution, praising its efforts to maintain security and stability amid the current circumstances.
