Minister Announces Continued Closure of Schools Near Borders

Minister of Education and Higher Education Abbas Halabi announced the continued closure of public and private schools, high schools, and vocational institutions tomorrow, Thursday, in the districts bordering the international southern borders. This decision is due to the ongoing deterioration of security and military conditions in the southern region and the exposure of several homes and individuals to shells and gunfire from the Israeli enemy. Halabi urged to "monitor the ministry's statements day by day to track field developments and ensure the commencement of the school year."
