Meeting on Heritage Building Advisory Committee's Operational Mechanism

Minister of Culture in the caretaker government, Mohammad Wissam al-Murtada, chaired a meeting in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh for the newly formed Advisory Committee for Heritage Buildings to discuss its operational mechanism aimed at preserving architectural heritage. The Minister emphasized "the importance of considering individual ownership for those who own a heritage home and the necessity of safeguarding their rights, especially since this is a sacred right enshrined in the Lebanese Constitution." He stressed that "the Advisory Committee will adhere to its work based on two standards: preserving architectural heritage while not neglecting individual property rights."
