Taiwanese Foreign Minister Joseph Wu stated today that "it is up to the people of Taiwan to make decisions regarding the upcoming elections, not the neighboring bully," in response to the military drills conducted by China around the island. Wu wrote on his official account on the platform "X": "China should hold its own elections; I’m sure its people would be thrilled."
