The Kremlin stated in a statement today, Wednesday, that "Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone call with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa." It added: "The King of Bahrain expressed his support for the measures taken by Putin to end the armed rebellion of Wagner mercenaries last Saturday." His Majesty the King reviewed the course of the close bilateral relations during the phone call with the Russian president.
