The distinguished Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qablan stated in a statement that "Lebanon is crucified by disasters and crises, and its salvation now is summarized by the equation 'Berri-Loudrian': dialogue and elections. Those who fall behind will sacrifice the country, and those who oppose do so intentionally with backing or international interests rather than national interests. It is a spiritual and national duty to rise up to implement President Nabih Berri's call for dialogue and elections."
