Pakistani police officials indicated today, Tuesday, that "an explosion near a vehicle belonging to paramilitary forces resulted in the death of two individuals, one of whom was the attacker, and several others were injured in the city of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan." The police stated, "The explosion was a suicide attack targeting a vehicle belonging to the paramilitary border forces." The recently formed "Pakistani Jihad Movement" claimed responsibility for the attack.
