The Department of Care and Social Affairs for Veterans held a tribute ceremony for several fallen military fathers on the occasion of Father's Day at the Central Non-Commissioned Officers' Club in Al-Fayyadah, attended by Army Commander General Joseph Aoun.
In his speech, the Army Commander extended his greetings to the fathers of the martyrs, emphasizing that "the military institution does not abandon its martyrs and their families." He stated, "Martyrs do not die; they live in our souls. Without them, Lebanon would not have survived. I thank you for raising your children with national values and for the sacrifices they made for our country."
The event included performances by poet Talia Hamdan and artists Nicola Daniel, Toni Kwan, and Nicola Mezzah.
