Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned today, Saturday, of the "continued presence of a serious threat at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which is occupied by Russia," noting that Moscow "is technically prepared to cause an explosion at the facility." During a joint press conference with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, Zelensky stated that "Ukrainian intelligence is the source of this information," and called on the international community to pay more attention to the situation at the facility located in southeastern Ukraine. He added, "There is a serious threat because Russia is technically ready to cause an explosion inside the plant, which could lead to a radioactive leak."
