A spokesperson for the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) indicated today, Tuesday, that "the military leaders of the member states will meet on Thursday and Friday, August 17 and 18, in Accra, the capital of Ghana, to arrange for a possible military intervention to restore democracy in Niger."
