Forest Secures Three Points at Chelsea's Ground

Substitute Anthony Elanga scored an early goal in the second half to lead Nottingham Forest to a 1-0 victory over host Chelsea, who appeared toothless, in the Premier League on Saturday. The 21-year-old Swedish player calmly shot from close range to find the net past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez in the 48th minute after receiving a pass from teammate Taiwo Awoniyi following chaos in Chelsea’s midfield.

Chelsea, with its expensive lineup, dominated possession for most of the match and focused around Forest's penalty area relying on short passes and raids from Raheem Sterling, but it was futile as they struggled to find someone to shoot on target. Forest, who moved ahead of Chelsea in the standings, defended resolutely to prevent Sterling and striker Nicolas Jackson, who had a golden opportunity in the 82nd minute, from scoring.
