Maroun Chammas, President of the Association of Oil Importing Companies, revealed external concerns regarding the continued shipment of oil tankers to Lebanon. He stated that some tanker owners have issued warnings against heading to Lebanese shores, while others have imposed war risk insurance and increased shipping costs, which will inevitably lead to a rise in prices by about forty dollars per ton, a significant amount. He emphasized the importance of continued supply, explaining that Lebanon's stock of petroleum products is sufficient for a maximum of twenty days.
